Under the framework of the signed Memorandum of Understanding, on 29th – 30th November 2016, National Foundation for Science and Technology Development of Vietnam (NAFOSTED), together with the National Health and Medical Research council of Australia (NHMRC), will co-organize the NAFOSTED – NHMRC networking Symposium for Health and Medical researchers in Hanoi.
This is the first official activity in the joint funding program between NAFOSTED and NHMRC and its outcomes will help inform future joint activities under the Memorandum of Understanding. Themes of the Symposium will focus on:
1. Infectious disease
2. Mother/Child Health
3. Public Health
By which, the Symposium aims to:
1. Provide general view about current research status of health and medical field within each country;
2. Build linkages and collaboration between health and medical researchers in both countries;
3. Identify research ideas and prepare project proposals for potential future collaborations.
Any Vietnamese scientists who wish to attend the Symposium can submit application forms to NAFOSTED, following the instructions below:
Eligibility criteria: Scientists having research interests related to 3 specific themes of the Symposium

* Please note: NAFOSTED will not cover any expenses for participation.
Application deadline: 17h00, 12th Oct 2016 (Wednesday)
The selection result will be released on 4th Nov 2016 (Friday).
