Inspection of the use of funds in 2011 of basic research projects in natural science

The National Foundation for Science and Technology Development is inspecting the use of funds in 2011 of 476 basic research projects in natural sciences.

During February and March, the Foundation officials, in cooperation with the Financial Planning Department – Ministry of Science and Technology,  have came to the host institutions to examine and evaluate the record documents, to report details on the use of funds for each project and to confirm the expense settlement. Prior to the visit, the Foundation has sent an official dispatch to inform the schedule and require them to prepare the documents. The inspection process has been flowing smoothly with the preparation and cooperation of the host institutions. However, some documents weren’t recorded as instructed by the Foundation.

The work is expected to end on April 6, then, all data will be collated and assembled to finalize the expenses.
