Currently, the Executive Office of the NAFOSTED has completed the budget evaluation for 202 basic research projects approved by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees in the funding list of 2012. The Ministry of Finance has approved the budget for the next phase of 2012 to disburse to the projects.

As in the plan, the Foundation expects to send a notification to the projects PIs to complete their proposals in January 2013. The contract signing and disbursement will take place in February 2013.

The NAFOSTED apologizes for the delayed disbursement in 2012 and hopes to still receive the cooperation of the scientists in the future.
