According to NAFOSTED work plan 2015, we are going to organize conferences introducing our funding and support program. The conferences will provide detailed instructions on how organizations/individuals register for our funding and support programs, highlight changes/updates in regulations and explain how to prepare an eligible proposal.

Below is the conference agenda:
Morning: 8:30-11:30

• Introduce general information of NAFOSTED and changes/updates in the scientific and financial management structure (Decree No. 23/2014/NĐ-CP of 3^rd April 2014 governing NAFOSTED organization Charter)
• Introduce NAFOSTED funding programs for emergent and potential scientific projects (Circular No. 40/2014/TT-BKHCN of 18^th December 2015 governing the management of emergent scientific projects with critical scientific and practical implications and potential scientific projects funded by NAFOSTED)
• Introduce NAFOSTED support programs of enhancing the national science and technology capability (including supports for internship and short-term research abroad, international conference participation, international conference organization in Vietnam, post-doc research, and so on); changes/updates in regulations (Circular No. 09/2015/TT-BKHCN of 15^th May 2015 governing the management of the national science and technology capability support programs funded by NAFOSTED).
• Discussion

Afternoon: 14:00-17:00

• Introduce NAFOSTED funding programs for basic researches (in natural science & engineering and social sciences & humanity), changes/updates in NAFOSTD funding and proposal receiving regulations (Circular No.37/2014/TT-BKHCN of 12^th December 2014 governing the management of basic research funded by NAFOSTED)
• Introduce and explain the financial structure and regulations for basic research (Joint Circular No. 55/2015/TTLT-BTC-BKHCN of 8^th June 2015 governing budget limits, budget structure and balance sheet of science & engineering projects using State money)
• Q&A.

• Tuesday, 15^th September 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City
• Thursday, 17^th September 2015 in Can Tho City
• Thursday, 1^st October 2015 in Hue and Hanoi City
