Results of receiving proposals of natural science and engineering basic research and NAFOSTED-FWO bilateral scientific research cooperation program
Proposal submission dates for natural science and engineering basic research funding program and NAFOSTED-FWO bilateral scientific research cooperation program are due on 9th July 2015 and 15th July 2015 respectively. We shall announce results of proposal eligibility checking as below:
Natural science and engineering basic research funding program
The number of proposals received: 515 proposals, in which:
- Mathematics: 33
- Information and Computer Science: 39
- Physics: 107
- Chemistry: 112
- Earth Science: 35
- Life Science – Medicine: 61
- Life Science – Agricultural and Biological Sciences: 87
- Mechanics: 41
The number proposals received this year is relatively equal to that of 2014. Soft copies, hard copies and proposal codes are updated in our OMS (Online Management System).
We plan to hold proposal appraisal in August 2015 and announce results in October 2015.
NAFOSTED-FWO bilateral scientific research cooperation program
The number of proposals received: 32 proposals, in which:
- Mathematics: 2
- Information and Computer Science: 3
- Physics: 2
- Chemistry: 5
- Earth Science: 1
- Life Science – Medicine: 5
- Life Science – Agricultural and Biological Sciences:9
- Mechanics: 1
- Economics: 3
- Area Studies and International Studies: 1
We plan to hold proposal appraisals with FWO in August and announce results in December 2015.
